Wellheads and Christmas trees
Wellheads provide the surface interface for well tubulars and pressure containment. Christmas trees are valve and connection assemblies used to manage production or injection at a completed well's outlet.
Producing and injection wells use assemblies matched to the completion and operating conditions. New equipment and replacement parts require the relevant interface drawings.
Pressure designation, bore, material requirements and connection arrangement vary by well. The control, monitoring and documentation scope should be included with the mechanical specification.
Chokes and production manifolds
Production chokes restrict flow through a selected trim arrangement, while manifolds combine valves and connections to direct streams. Their pressure-containing design and flow-control roles depend on the wellsite or production system.
Well production, testing and gathering systems use chokes and manifolds for defined operating duties. Solids and erosive conditions can influence material and trim selection.
Fixed or adjustable chokes and different manifold layouts serve different objectives. Specify flow cases, pressures, materials, end connections and required actuation.
Well testing packages
Well-testing packages combine equipment that separates, measures or handles production during a defined test. The package configuration depends on fluid phases, expected rates and the information required from the test programme.
Temporary testing and permanent measurement installations use combinations of separators, meters and handling equipment. Test duration and site constraints affect the complete scope.
Define flow cases, pressure, temperature and measurement targets. Equipment rental, operating crew, fluid handling and interpretation should be identified separately from hardware supply.
Production spares and seal kits
Production spares and seal kits replace components in installed wellsite or production equipment. Kits may contain multiple seals and supporting parts selected for a particular assembly and material configuration.
Maintenance and overhaul of wellheads, valves and related equipment require correctly identified parts. Service fluid and exposure affect the permitted sealing compounds and materials.
Use manufacturer, serial number, drawing and kit reference to identify the requirement. Check revision, storage life and inspection documentation rather than assuming dimensional similarity establishes interchangeability.
